Voyage of the Celestial Alchemist

A rocket climbs diagonally through bands of clouds into a sky filled with stars and moons. A floral border surrounds the scene, bringing space travel into the visual language of a decorative tapestry.

An AI describes a tapestry artwork, and a second AI turns that description into an image. The image is woven on a Jacquard loom. A photograph of the finished tapestry is then given to a third AI, which writes a wall label for it.

The generated label supplies its own fictional artist, date, and interpretation. That imagined account is part of the work's experiment in having a machine interpret the physical result.
