An AI generates a short description of an artwork, then expands it three times. The four resulting concepts appear on four mechanical split-flap displays arranged around a monitor.

A second AI combines the four concepts and turns them into an image shown on the monitor. The process repeats with a new artwork, replacing the previous image. Each cycle makes the development of an imagined artwork visible in both language and image.
