Liminal Exchange
A sculpture made from found materials becomes the subject of a wall label generated from its photograph.
About the work
An orange hardware-store bucket hangs by its handle against a white wall. The familiar container is paired with a printed interpretation.
The artist first makes a sculpture from found materials, then photographs it. An AI receives the photograph and writes a wall label in response. The generated interpretation becomes part of the presentation of the physical object.
