About the work

A metal dental phantom faces a microphone from the top of an aluminum truss. Its exposed teeth and hollow face turn a piece of dental equipment into a speaking figure.

One AI generates idle thoughts, which are fed into a second AI trained to replicate the artist's voice. Thousands of these synthesized recordings are scrambled and played through the sculpture.
