self-powered strip
A power strip plugged into itself keeps its indicator lit until a visitor interrupts it.
About the work
A white plastic six-outlet power strip is plugged into itself. Its power indicator remains illuminated until a participant switches it off or disconnects its plug.
The work was shown at Volta Art Fair in New York in 2014.
