An autonomous robot gathers stories from the people it encounters.
About the work
Boxie roams autonomously with sensors and a high-resolution video camera, inviting people to tell stories for a documentary. Its design uses several approaches to encourage people to interact with it.
The project was developed as part of Reben’s master’s thesis at the MIT Media Lab.
